S’mores Cookies

These sweet cookies are filled with all the s'mores classic taste that doesn't require a fire place.

A sweet treat that is filled with a crunchy, chewy chocolate taste.





**TIPS: Allow the cookie dough to become firm so all the topping can bake evenly.


Once the cookies are taken out the oven be careful, as the marshmallows are extremely hot and can burn your skin upon touch.


Ingredients

  • 1/2 cups of brown sugar

  • 1/4 cups of cane sugar

  • 1 teaspoon of baking soda

  • 1 large egg

  • 1 stick unsalted butter

  • 1 pinch of salt

  • 2 tablespoons of vanilla extract

  • 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour

  • 1/2 pack of graham crackers

  • 1/3 cups of white chocolate chips

  • 1/4 cups of milk chocolate chips

  • 1/2 cups of marshmallows


STEP 1

Cream together butter and both sugars.


STEP 2

Mix in vanilla extract, baking soda and salt.

Add the egg.


STEP 3

Now mix in flour adding into dough mixture slowly until it's fully combined.


STEP 4

Preheat oven 355

Now it's time for the s'mores.

Take your graham crackers and smash the crackers into pieces. Depending on how big you want your piece smash the for a longer time with a rolling pin or a large metal spoon.


STEP 5

Add smashed crackers to the cookie dough.

Now add the both chocolate chips and marshmallow to dough mixture and gently mix until all ingredients are combined.


STEP 6

Chill dough for 20 minutes.

Once chilled bake in the oven for 15 minutes or until the middle is fully cooked.


STEP 7

Allow cookies to chill for 10 minutes, once chilled transfer cookie to a baking rack for the remainder of chill time.

Careful the marshmallow are still hot and can burn!
