Chex Party Mix- Holiday Edition

This party mix is a perfect treat for all your holiday parties. A well balanced treat coated with all the sugar goodness that the holidays bring.

What's a holiday party without party mix?

The ingredients can vary depending of how big of a mix you want, also you can swap the white chocolate with semi sweet or plain chocolate chips.

Ingredients

1 box of Chex Rice Cereal ( 7 cups)

1 cup if peanut butter

1/2 cups of white chocolate chip

1 1/4 cups of powder sugar

1 teaspoon of vanilla extract

1 teaspoon of butter or margarine

STEP 1

In a large bowl add your Chex cereal. In two separate bowls melt your chocolate and peanut butter until smooth.

STEP 2

Stir in melted peanut butter, butter and chocolate into the Chex Cereal. Add the vanilla and continue to stir until the cereal is fully coated.

STEP 3

Now that your cereal is coated add your powder sugar. Add your cereal to a plastic zip lock bag. Add the powder sugar into the bag and shake until the cereal is fully coated.

STEP 4

Now that your cereal is coated add to a separate dish and serve.

Now since this is the holiday edition you can add your favorite holiday sprinkles.
