This is my best vanilla cake recipe. A classic butter cake techniques applied for the most soft and moist yellow cake like you’ve never had before.

**TIPS:
Eggs: Allow your eggs to set out, room temperature eggs allow the cake to become fluffy which results in a moist cake!
Baking powder: Always remember to check the freshness of your baking soda as our date powder will result in a dense cake!
Butter : For a more smooth buttercream frosting; allow your butter to set out to become soft to the touch!
Ingredients
2 cups of All purpose flour
2 1/2 teaspoons of baking powder
1 pinch of salt
4 large eggs
1 1/2 cups of granulated sugar or pure cane sugar
1 stick of butter( unsalted)
1 cup of milk
3 table spoons of vanilla extract
3 teaspoons of vegetable oil
Butter cream
3 sticks of unsalted butter
1 pound of powder sugar
2 tablespoons of vanilla extract
1/4 cups of milk
STEP 1
Preheat oven to 350
In a separate bowl mix flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside!
STEP 2
Beat eggs on high speed for 30 seconds
Then with the mixer still going add in sugar slowly, mix until combined
Mix for 8 minutes but do not exceed this time or you are in danger of overworking the eggs
STEP 3
Heat your milk, now the milk should not have foam on the top warm the milk where it's warm to the touch!
No more than 2 minutes in the microwave!
Heat your butter
STEP 4
Now add your dry mix to your egg mixture turn you speed to a medium speed adding 1 scoop of flour at a time. Mix until add flour is combined and no clumps are showing.
STEP 5
In a separate bowl combine melted butter, milk and vanilla. Whisk in your oil and mix until combined.
STEP 6
Turn your mixer to a low speed and slowly add your wet mixture to the egg mixture. Mix until combine. Mix on low for 2 minutes and every 15 seconds scrap the sides to fully incorporate all the ingredients.
STEP 7
Butter your baking pan, and line with parchment paper for easy removal.
Pour mixture into baking pans.
Bake for 23 minutes, depending on the size of your pan check at the 15 minute mark to see if the middle firming.

Buttercream
Combine butter, vanilla and milk mix until smooth. Slowly add your powder sugar and mix until the butter and smooth and creamy
STEP 9
Take your cake out and set aside on a baking rack to completely cook before frosting!
STEP 10
Frost your cake!
